We’re a family-owned art studio in Austin where people of all ages come to paint pottery, make mosaics, fuse glass, and just have fun being creative. Our team makes that magic happen by keeping the studio welcoming, organized, and running smoothly.
What’s a typical day like?
No two days are the same! On weekends and school breaks you’ll be busy with guests—greeting guests, setting up walk-in tables, hosting birthday parties or team buildings, and resetting the studio in between groups so it’s clean and ready to go again.
On weekdays the studio is a little calmer. You might unload a kiln, put new pottery into inventory, organize supplies, or tackle bigger cleaning projects so the studio’s in top shape for our busiest times.
Every day includes processing finished pieces, labeling them carefully, and pitching in wherever help is needed.
Weekend availability is a must—that’s when the studio is at its busiest!
Do we make art ourselves?
Nope! Our role is to facilitate the creative space for our guests. We’re here to answer questions, offer encouragement, keep things running smoothly, and make sure everyone has what they need to enjoy the experience.
Are there opportunities to grow?
Yes! We’re always growing, and we love to promote from within. Many team members start as Studio Assistants or temporary Summer Art Teachers and work their way into roles like Shift Lead, Assistant Manager, or even Studio Manager. Learn specialized skills like kiln work, leadership and marketing. If you’re motivated and dependable, there’s lots of room to grow with us.
Who are we looking for?
Friendly, reliable, upbeat people who like working with others, staying organized, and don’t mind pitching in wherever needed. You don’t need an art degree—just a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
