2013 Austin Art Fall Art Camps are Here!
The Art Garage provides something fun and educational to do on school holidays! Our art camps are mixed-age and mixed art media. Activities include ceramics, hand-building with clay, drawing, painting, crafts, fused glass, jewelry, tie-dye, games, color theory, art history and more! The camps are all lead by art educators, art education students, and degreed artists.
Mom and Dad, do you need a little time to get some shopping or wrapping done? Have a kiddo who loves to create? Kids will get to make four kiln-fired Christmas gifts on this day, including three pottery pieces: handprint ball ornament, mug, and a choice holiday item. They will also use glass fusion to create either a sun-catcher or a pendant. And of course, we’ll be making cards and holiday drawings, too!Ages: 6-12, This special camp runs 10am – 4pm. Pizza lunch will be provided! $75 per child. Aftercare, with holiday movie and treats, is an additional option until 6pm for $20.
Monday, December 30: Keep Austin Artsy Art Camp
This camp is gonna “Keep it Weird” with lots of art inspired by Austin! Learn to “tie-dye paint” a pottery peace sign wall hanging, paint a ceramic ice cream cone and create a landscape on canvas of our beloved city!
Cost: $39 Ages: 6-12, 10am – 2pm, with option to add aftercare until 5pm for $5 per hour.
