Spring Storytimes are every-other week!

Fridays at 10:45

Storytime Art, or StArt! is a great opportunity for your young child to experience art! Storytimes are geared to the 3 1/2 - 6 year old preschooler, but some projects could easily translate into a Mommy and Me project for those a little younger. And, of course, anyone older is welcome, as well! Storytimes always include at least one book and a related art project, but often include surprises like songs, poems, and coloring pages.

Starting in June, cost is $12 per child, or buy a punch-card and get 6 classes for $60! Please call to register.

May 17 Balls
This Storytime will be a ball! We’ll read books about balls, like "Watch Me Throw the Ball," by Mo Williams. We’ll do a couple of awesome ball paintings (your kids will love it!) and finally paint a ball magnet set.
June 14 Superheroes!
Come dressed in your favorite superhero get-up! Storytimers will color and decorate their own super-masks, and then we will read some "super" books. We'll wrap it all up by saving the day by super-painting some adorable superhero (boy or girl) figurines!
June 21 It's Monster Week at the Art Garage!
Kids will get to make a great monster craft! We'll read several exciting monster books, like "Go Away Big Green Monster" by Ed Emberley, and then Storytimers will be able to paint a monster figurine of their choice.
June 28 You Scream, I Scream...
We all scream for ice cream! Join us for a super sweet storytime all about this favorite summer desert. We'll read Mo Willem's "Should I Share my Ice Cream?" and paint ice cream magnets. Maybe there will even be a little frozen treat in store...
July 12 The Zoo
Join us for a VERY special Storytime... all about zoo animals! We will have great fun creating zoo crafts, reading zoo books and painting a zoo animal figurine. We may even have a special animal guest, so be sure to sign up!
