Inspired by our day out we’ll come back to the studio and begin our own mosaic artwork.
We’ll take a Young Metal Smithing Workshop at Creative Side Jewelry Academy. This is an awesome class where teens have the opportunity to learn fundamental metal-smithing techniques to design and fabricate rings. Learn to apply beautiful texture with hammers and decorative metal stamps, adding your own personal touch and unique flare. Learn basic silver soldering skills using the traditional jeweler’s torch. Copper and brass are provided. If your teen would like to work in silver please, send $21.65. Bring a sack lunch.
Back at The Art Garage we will finish our mosaic and begin to design our Hope Gallery mural project.
