2013 Austin Art Summer Camps are Here!
Our focus is fun! The themes and projects are selected with kids in mind. All camps are mixed ages and mixed art media. Art projects include ceramics, hand building with clay, drawing, painting, crafts, fused glass, jewelry, tie-dye, games, color theory, art history and more! The camps are all lead by art educators, art education students and degreed artists. Campers can expect to complete 8-12 projects, and celebrate with an art pARTy on Friday!
Each week aftercare is available from 2 to 6pm for an additional $5/hour per child. Aftercare typically includes movies and crafts that are in line with the week's theme.
June 6-7 Unbirthday Art Camp
"...a very merry unbirthday to you!" It may not be your birthday, but in this art camp, we'll celebrate like it is! (Because it is ours!!) Projects will be inspired by "Alice in Wonderland" and, of course, birthdays! They will include clay mad-hatter hat hooks, cupcake ceramics, and more! On Friday we'll even have our own Unbirthday Party!
